BOOK FESTIVAL REVIEW : What a hoot!! We all had a brilliant night with Harry. Laugh a minute, (Sorry second). Have had very positive feedback from the public here at Lochee Library where Harry performed (Maybe that's the wrong word to use) This man should be on the telly. In fact was listening to the radio the other day when I could have sworn I heard him telling jokes. Based on a true story of four brothers growing up in the Plantation area of Glasgow during the late forties / early fifties and the hilarious things they get up to as they 'con' their way through life. 

Set in the cobbled streets with towering tenements and the KGV dock yards in the background. Thoroughly light hearted short stories, hilarious events and heartbreaking at times, but full of nostalgia and Glesca patter. You can't help but liken to the characters, as the story evolves over the years, page after page.
